See Cynthia Bailey's Glamorous Jewelry and Luxury Watch Collection

Cynthia Bailey's glamorous life goes beyond her stunning bedroom decor at Lake Bailey. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member has spent many years amassing an impressive array of jewelry and watches and she shared the secrets to her glittering collection with Marie Claire magazine's "Precious Metals" series. 

In the clip below, Cynthia spills the details on her treasure trove of baubles and pricey watches, including why she'll never get rid of her first wedding ring and the earrings that marked her "spiritual rebirth".

"A lot of these pieces have a lot of personal history and a lot of personal meaning," she began in the video set in her modern, Atlanta home. "Jewelry is important to me and it contributes to my personal style becomes like a part of me."

Cynthia took a stroll down memory lane, starting with a stop at her custom wedding ring and band. "Like my wedding ring and my wedding band, for example," she continued. "I have this on every day and I never really take it off except to clean. It just becomes a part of your soul, like it's just a part of who you are."

Then, Cynthia revealed that her collection included a selection of stunning, luxury watches. "I first started building my collection of watches probably when I was about 19," she explained. "I got my first Cartier as a gift. I'm not going to say from who. Not too much back story, but let's just say he was a very bad boy and he felt really bad about something that he had [done] while we were dating. And he came home with a beautiful Cartier watch for me," she said while holding up the Panthère de Cartier style. "I forgave him. He kind of started my Cartier journey and I've been collecting Cartier watches ever since."

Cynthia's bevy of rare Cartier timepieces boasts a men's style as well. "One of my loves," she explained. "It's big, but it's not super oversized. And I feel like I can dress it up and dress it down and it's just comfortable and it's just classic."

There was even a little something something for her husband, Mike Hill, in the mix. "My husband is a Rolex guy...but I'm trying to turn him into a Cartier man. So for Mike's 50th birthday, I bought him this Cartier watch. I love Rolex as well, he's definitely a Rolex man, but I'm slowly pulling him into Cartier." 

Cynthia flaunted her first wedding ring, which holds a special place in her heart. "It doesn't even fit anymore because...we were not a good fit! And now, I hold onto it because it's a reminder, it's part of my journey. It's a part of my life. It's a part of my story. I'll never throw this away or give this away or sell it." 

Custom made gold door knocker hoop earrings will look familiar to followers of Cynthia's lavish wedding. "We almost cancelled the wedding a million times. I have no regrets. These are 50 Cynt earrings and the reason that these are important to me is because I had a spiritual rebirth when I turned 50. And I named myself 50 Cynt. The 50 Cynt era was my time of finding peace."
