Kandi Burruss Shares an Update on Her Hair Growth Journey
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom found an exciting product that's helping her achieve thicker hair.
Kandi Burruss is on a hair mission. Early in April, The Real Housewives of Atlanta multi-hyphenate revealed that she was trying to get her hair to grow. "My hair is not as thick as it used to be. This ain't giving what it should be giving," she said in a social media clip while showing off her natural mane. "Let's get this hair back right." Since then, it seems Kandi has found a product that's getting the job done.
"I told you that I was going to keep you updated on my hair journey," she shared in an April 17 Instagram post. "I've been using Miracle Drops from Kaleidoscope Hair Products for about a week now, and I honestly feel like it's thickening up some," she explained while running her fingers through her sleek strands. The product, created by founder and CEO of KHP Jesseca Dupart, features a combination of essential oils, including tea tree and peppermint oil, to nourish the scalp, prevent hair breakage, and promote hair growth.
Kandi continued, "I can tell you for a fact, I do have friends that have used the product and they definitely say it works. So, that's why I feel good about this and knowing that my hair will see growth and thicken up." She added, "The other thing I love about it is you know I love supporting Black-owned businesses, and it's a female-owned, Black-owned business."
Kandi is committed to seeing through her hair treatment. In the clip, Kandi shared that she forgot her drops during a recent visit to Chicago, and she was prepared to make a Walmart run to get the product. "I got upset because I told ya'll I was going to use them every day, and I always like to be a person of my word," she explained. Luckily, Kandi's manager DonJuan Clark was able to send her the drops and saved her the trip.
