Shereé Whitfield Reveals Plans for an Exciting Change to Chateau Shereé
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member is creating a very special new room in her iconic home.
As The Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers are well aware, it took Shereé Whitfield many, many years to complete her dream home. Although Shereé explained during Season 14 of the show that the house (including that buzzed-about basement) was finally finished, it turns out Shereé has one more change in store at her iconic abode.
Shereé Whitfield reveals plans for a nursery at Chateau Shereé
On Season 15 Episode 15 of RHOA, which aired on August 20, Shereé was spending time with her son, Kairo Whitfield, Kairo's girlfriend, Alina, and the couple's daughter, Mecca Joie, when she revealed her plans to transform a room of the home for her first grandchild to use.
"I was thinking about doing a nursery upstairs for Mecca," Shereé said. "I got some swatches. I still love the nudes...pink, blush-y."
While we have yet to see if Shereé landed on that exact color scheme in the nursery, she did follow a similar palette when planning a sip-and-see for Mecca at her house. The over-the-top party seen during the same episode included jaw-dropping floral displays and balloon installations in shades of beige, brown, and pink.
Kairo was beyond touched by the lavish details, which also included a towering cake, dozens of teddy bears, and sweet photos of Mecca. "I told you don't go crazy," he told Shereé, to which she responded, "[Mecca is] so deserving of all of this and more."
In a May interview with People, Shereé shared how her house has already changed since Mecca's arrival. "My home looks like a play pad. It's like a nursery!" she said. "But I wouldn't have it any other way. Mecca is spoiled, but she's going to be so much more spoiled. Mecca's going to want for nothing. That's my girl."
Shereé teases a backyard change to Chateau Shereé
Before sharing she planned to add a nursery for Mecca, Shereé teased another big change coming soon to her house. "These [pool] companies in ATL are talking about a year plus out before breaking ground,” Shereé tweeted in May 2022. “I need Atlanta to get it together with the [turnaround] dispensing permits because Chateau Shereé needs a pool asap!”
