The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards just adores spending time in Mexico. Recently, she gathered south of the border with castmates Lisa Vanderpump and Erika Girardi to celebrate the opening of Kyle's hubby Mauricio Umansky's real estate firm, The Agency.
For that occasion, the whole crew flew down to Punta Mita, located just about 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta — which is a quick three-hour flight from Los Angeles — on Mexico’s Pacific Coast.
It's basically the buzziest Mexican destination right now — and possibly one of the buzziest destinations in the world — with Kendall and Kylie Jenner plus Kim Kardashian among those who have stayed at the the area's Casa Aramara, built by Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis. The area is also home to posh Four Seasons and St. Regis properties.
The RHOBH ladies' trip was just one among so many Kyle has taken — she says she loves all things Mexico, and considers it her special place.
"I'm convinced I was Mexican in a past life!" she says (clip above). "I always love going to Mexico — I love the people, I love the culture, I love the food." (She's probably not referring specifically to the new $25,000 taco offering, but that exists.)
"When I was growing up, I was always spending time in Mexico with my friends," she says. "And when I met my husband and he spoke Spanish, I was like, 'Ooooh, I like that!'"
Since then, the family has spent tons of special time in the country. "We’ve just always been traveling to Mexico, while we were dating and since we’ve been married and have our kids — we always do vacations in Mexico."
