If you haven't been closely following Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin’s recent backyard drama, then you may have found yourself wondering why the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple is so up in arms over poles and gophers. Confused? Here’s your quickie recap: After a recent trip, Lisa came home to discover the power company had installed an enormous, multi-story-tall electrical pole on their property. Harry was upset, to say the least. Plus, the couple’s backyard is also plagued by gophers. Yes, really!
While she’s usually quick to show her Instagram followers the myriad problems her gardens face, Lisa recently showed off the stunning portions of her backyard — which helped us understand why she and Harry get so upset when problems arise.
“All right, Rinna, say something positive, sheeesh,” she said after focusing on the gopher problems. “Let me show you something nice, look at this lusciousness, this is the luscious garden to the left, it’s real pretty.”
Real pretty, indeed! Verdant and overflowing with flowering trees and bushes and lush grass, the garden is simply stunning.
“Let’s end on a positive note, shall we? This is a positive note right here,” Lisa said, showing off her home’s stone patio area. “Oh my goodness, how gorgeous, come on, OK now there, wait, another gorgeous moment, you guys, look at that bougainvillea! And that gorgeous tree! OK, now that’s pretty. Let’s end on a positive note with that bougainvillea!”
We couldn’t agree more. With the fuschia flowers growing up the sides of her home, the property truly looks like something you’d find in Europe or beyond—and now we understand why this place is Harry’s beloved “sanctuary!”
