After Selling His $56M Mansion, Mohamed Hadid Is No Longer Living Quite As Large
Lisa Vanderpump's friend Mohamed Hadid has downgraded his digs.
Some of the most elaborate, over-the-top scenes from early episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills took place at the home of longtime Lisa Vanderpump pal, Mohamed Hadid (aka the ex-husband of Yolanda Hadid and dad to supermodel spawn Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid). Dubbed Le Belvedere, the lavish estate was located on 2.2 prime Bel Air acres and featured a French Chateau-style mansion complete with a poker room, a Moroccan-themed room, and two master suites. Oh, and let’s not forget it was the site of Jennifer Lopez’s "Dinero" music video, too!
However, Mohamed sold the estate last year for a whopping $56 million… which was significantly lower than the property’s original $85 million asking price. Where did the flamboyant real estate developer then land? According to Variety, he’s now living in a much smaller, more modest home. Mohamed paid $4.5 million for the 4,500-square-foot house in the Beverly Hills Post Office nabe, and while it’s beautiful and certainly more expensive than most homes in America… it’s not #houseofhadid.
Located on a cul de sac, the property sits on .6 acres and includes a library, a walk-in wine closet, and a renovated master bedroom with private access to the sprawling gardens (the site of a recent brunch with his daughters!).
While the home isn’t as grand as his last place, it seems Mohamed’s “cottage”—which is what he referred to his new home as in a recent Instagram post!—is making him just as happy as he’s always been!
