Erika Girardi's New Shoe Collection Includes (Gasp!) Flats
Good news: You can still emulate Erika Jayne-level fierceness, even if you can't walk in heels.
Erika Girardi knows shoes. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills singer and fashionista estimates her collection numbers into the hundreds, with not one but two entire rooms to hold all those pairs of shoes. Besides that, she's also lent her expertise to ShoeDazzle, curating her affordable must-haves for fall last year.
This September, Erika's back with ShoeDazzle, and this time she's unveiling a collaboration called "Erika Jayne x Erika Girardi." The news about her 12 styles and 30 colorways dropped via Women's Wear Daily and the Pretty Mess's Instagram. Today, those shoes launch on ShoeDazzle's site with prices well under $100.
Like her Too Faced makeup collection, Erika's collab is divided between her alter ego and Ms. Girardi. "Erika Jayne is definitely over the top, exciting, fierce, fun, glamorous, glitzy,” she told WWD. “Erika Girardi’s collection is more bold [and] powerful. She has an element of class."
That means neon snakeskin knee-highs, lace-up boots and pumps for Erika Jayne and a white cut-out heel with a silver toe for Erika Girardi (that shoe is named "Executive Realness," one of the fun shoe names in the collection) — but not every shoe has a towering heel (even though Erika once said: "Flats are for quitters, at least in my book, so pumps only"). Case in point: these adorable "Pretty Mess" slides that look cute and comfy.
