When sorting through old boxes one recent night, Kyle Richards came across a goldmine. And when we say "goldmine," we mean throwback snaps of her hair — and her sister Kim Richards' bangs — as they once were.
Now, when you hear the phrase Kyle Richards' hair, we know what comes to mind. Based on current-day Kyle, you'll have visions of a long, shiny curtain of dark-brown tresses. And, you love Kim's hair for its sunny blonde hue and perennial shine. But, things weren't always this way. And if you scroll down, you'll find visual proof that the sisters' style once, perhaps just a teeny bit, recalled your yearbook photo from the early '90s.
Taking to Instagram stories to post a short clip of the photos in question, Kyle explained that the snaps were taken with her and Kim's father, Ken Richards. Flanking their pops, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills sisters have hair that sets the image somewhere in the late '80s or early '90s. OR at Tamra Judge's '80s Bunco Party circa 2015, but that would be a whole other story ...
Here's the first bit of info that will have you reeling: Kyle's hair wasn't always chestnut brown. In fact, the vintage photograph showcases the Beverly Hills mom with a lovely, shade of light red — and Kyle attests that the style had some length. "My hair was probably down to my ankles," she quipped on Instagram.
As for Kim, her yesteryear-self had bangs that were so glorious, they would not have been out of place in a Glamour Shot. Behold this majesty, and marvel at the perfect distribution of hairspray on display.
But in the end, no matter what color, cut, or height of bangs they're rocking, these sisters can't help but look glamorous.
