Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Reveals Who Keeps Her Accountable

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is currently changing lives as an accountability coach who helps others meet their health and fitness goals. Each week, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal posts photos to proudly showcase her clients' progress losing inches and pounds. And Teddi herself has a similar success story. Though she works out daily now, eats clean, and has an uber-fit frame, there was a time when the Beverly Hills mama wasn't quite so in shape.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Teddi has been open about her weight loss journey, and has said many times that she weighed around 200 pounds while she was pregnant. But she still gets tons of questions about the specifics of her amazing transformation. So Teddi devoted a recent Instagram post to sharing the exact thing that made her put fitness first — and it's impossible to read her statement without being inspired.

In a September 29 post that showed photos of her "before" and "after" her weight loss, the accountability coach wrote: "My inbox has been flooded with those asking what actually 'made' me change my lifestyle. There wasn’t just one moment but this one on the left resonates with me ... I was at my sisters wedding and when I went up to speak, my first comment to the photographer was 'don’t take a picture of me please.' My entire life I loved speaking in front of a crowd and all of a sudden I could barely even make eye contact with my sister and speak to her on one of her most important days."

The post continued: "I felt so trapped being in my own head about how I FELT about me I wasn’t able to be in the moment. It took about another year of big moments like this passing me by before I decided I was worth taking the time to work on me and that once I worked on me I would be a better wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. Changing your life is truly about self reflection, accountability and being honest with yourself and this is exactly what we teach at [All In by Teddi Mellencamp] ... I love you. pps. THIS ISN’T ABOUT WHAT SIZE YOU ARE ITS ABOUT HOW YOU ARE TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF."

We've never been more inspired by Teddi!
