Each season we wait with bated breath to see what the 'Wives will be wearing during their in-show interviews. Turns out there's a lot more that goes into those clips than just wardrobe styling. 

First, there's the setup. The production crew takes meticulous notes on where everything is, then they move around all the furniture to set up the lights and camera. When they've captured what they need, everything goes right back into place (hopefully).

The hair and makeup is a whole other process. Makeup artists must study screen shots of what they looked like in previous interviews to make sure they've matched it exactly.

Our favorite part of this behind-the-scenes look? What the ladies are wearing during their interviews. We see the gorgeous hair and beautiful tops, but below the waist it's all sweatpants and furry shoes. We can't say we blame them!
