Erika Girardi's Stylist Reveals the "Whole Process" Behind Her Bold Interview Look
Celebrity stylist Dani Michelle shares new details on the iconic ensemble that was "specially brought in from Italy" for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills beauty.
Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is finally here and things are already starting off on a stylish foot. But amid all the glittering chaos, one flawless face stood out for her endless ripped from the runway slayage — our queen Erika Girardi.
Even before the season began, we quickly became obsessed with Erika's Season 10 style. From her "La Dolce Vita"- inspired Italian ensembles to the massive diamonds she sported during her tagline, we've clung to every couture crumb. And now, the sought-after celebrity stylist behind Erika's dramatic interview outfit is spilling the tea on the "whole process" of creating an iconic look.
We got our first glimpse of our queen in her Alexander McQueen black and pink, rose-shouldered blazer with a sheer bustier underneath back when Erika dropped a behind-the-scenes shot on her Instagram on February 6. Then on April 15, celeb stylist Dani Michelle, who works with stars like Kourtney Kardashian and Kristin Cavallari, shared the elaborate lengths she goes to in order to bring each high-fashion vision to life.
"To explain how this whole process works, styling someone like Erika goes back years and years of looks, references, growth and fashion," Michelle explained on her Instagram Stories. "@mickeyminden and I talk all hours of the day, sending each other ideas of runways, vintage fashion, and new designers." Wow! It takes a village to raise the bar on Housewives fashion.
"This @AlexanderMcqueen jacket I saw and knew Erika had to have it," she continued. "It is Erika. So even before she could even try it, we had it specially brought in from Italy." That's right, Erika has looks flown in from around the globe — and that's before she's even tried styles on.
Ahh, the life.
