Crystal Kung Minkoff Shares How Her Style Has Changed Since Joining RHOBH
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills rookie is "coming into [her] own" when it comes to fashion.
The women of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have a thing for couture and over-the-top fabulosity. But for newbie Crystal Kung Minkoff, a crisp, preppy look is just as good as any.
In a recent Instagram share, the RHOBH rookie answered a fan's question about her fashion influences. "I'm not into 'fashion,'" Crystal replied. "I just feel best in simple, preppy comfortable clothes. That being said, I had to step it up for the show."
In The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 After Show clip above, Crystal dishes more about how her style has changed since joining the RHOBH gang. "I am not a risk-taker ... I always like to look exactly the same all the time," she laughs. But when Dorit Kemsley says that she's noted a style "evolution" in Crystal, the Season 11 rookie confesses:
"I'm getting more comfortable. But [fashion has] never been my thing. I'm coming into my own in this part of my life. That never was something that I felt connected to, so I'm having more fun. But being in the room with [the RHOBH cast members] every day inspires you ... The show gave me the opportunity to try things out. If I chose, I would be wearing chapstick every day."
In her Instagram post, Crystal also shared a peek at a typical off-camera look. "This was yesterday at a birthday party," she wrote "Jeans and a button up."
