Garcelle Beauvais Offers a Tour of Her "Warm," Sun-Filled Bedroom
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member designed a peaceful space where she can "get away from the world."
Garcelle Beauvais had a hand in every detail of her new, custom-designed home. Wanting to lend a "sexy and grown" vibe to the San Fernando Valley abode, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member chose a stunning chandelier to light up her foyer, and she filled her living room with clean-lined furniture. But when designing her bedroom — which sits atop a swooping grand staircase — the actress was all about warmth.
Inviting BravoTV.com into her "sanctuary" in the video above, Garcelle said, "This is where I can watch TV, get away from the world a little bit. I really wanted something that was warm." Swathed in purple Louis Vuitton bedding, her bed has a giant tufted headboard; it's anchored with wooden stands holding clear-glass lamps and candle holders.
And since Garcelle loves color, she added a pop of it with a painting of butterflies flitting across a bright yellow surface. Other decorative touches include a palm leaf, huge glass lanterns, and a gilded Buddha statue nestled into a corner.
With sliding glass doors leading to a balcony and two windows flanking the bed, the bedroom is filled with natural light. Take a peek of the chic, comfy room in the video above.
