This Is How Kyle Richards' Family Celebrated Passover Amid Coronavirus
Amid self-isolation, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member's family celebrated the holiday at their luxe home bar.
Kyle Richards' Passover Seder may have looked slightly different this year, as her family is hunkered down at home amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
In an Instagram Story photo shared by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member's daughter Alexia Umansky, members of the family, including Mauricio Umansky and Sophia Umansky, sat at their luxe home bar to celebrate the Jewish holiday. As seen in the snap, the family had company via video chat for the occasion as they sipped on red wine and noshed on crackers while two white candles burned in front of a laptop placed on the bar.
Alexia captioned the post: "Happy Passover."
While we haven't seen the family's Seder in years past, we imagine they tend to be a bit more over-the-top based on Kyle's prior holiday fetes. While celebrating Rosh Hashanah last year, Kyle threw a stunning dinner party, complete with butterfly dinnerware. “I’m so excited the holidays are here," Kyle wrote at the time. "And it’s dinner party time!”
Still, with its mirrored ceiling, illuminated shelves, and black-marble fixtures, the home bar is certainly a stunning location for any holiday celebration.
Amid the pandemic, the family has been "cooking, cleaning, eating, [and] watching movies," at their Encino mansion, Kyle recently shared, noting that they were "starting to get a little stir-crazy."
Thankfully, the family members haven't lost their sense of humor as their days in self-isolation continue. Alexia recently shared a prank she pulled on Kyle and Mauricio, as she placed a cardboard paper towel tube between the seat and lid of a toilet as well as two toilet paper rolls on top to give the bathroom fixture the appearance of a person smoking a cigar. The 23-year-old yelled out to her parents: "The toilet is smoking!"
