Kyle Richards Explains Why She Took Her Bel-Air House off the Market
The RHOBH cast member revealed the surprising reason she hasn't put her house back on the market after Sutton Stracke moved out.
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's former Bel-Air home has been on and off the market for years. While The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple look for a new owner, they have occasionally rented out the house to tenants including Sutton Stracke.
Sutton recently moved out of the abode after nearly a year of renting it for $20,000 per month. However, according to Kyle, the home isn't quite ready to hit the market again after Sutton's departure. "We took it off the market because we have to do some repairs right now," Kyle shared with a laugh on Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion. During the October 13 episode, Kyle explained, "[Sutton] was a great tenant, although she did almost burn my house down."
Sutton was clearly shocked by the news as Kyle shared, "They just did like a walk-through, and they're like, 'Um, the house was almost burned down.'" After Kyle showed Andy Cohen a photo of the damage caused by a fireplace, Sutton explained, "It is not my fault, I just turned the fireplace on."
Kyle and Mauricio most recently put the 7-bedroom 9-bathroom home on the market in July for $6,750,000, with Alexia Umansky and Farrah Aldjufrie as the listing agents. "For those of you that don’t know, this was my family home for many years," Alexia captioned an Instagram post announcing the listing. "And let me tell you.. the love I have for this house will never fade. A true treasure." According to property records, the listing was removed the following month.
