Sutton Stracke is finally getting settled in her new home. Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion gave a quick peek inside the newly completed abode, and it looks like it was certainly worth the wait.
"We moved in last week," Sutton told Andy Cohen as the October 13 episode showed her amazing new closet, kitchen, living area, and other parts of the home. "It feels amazing. Every morning I wake up and I'm like, this is amazing. It's so great. I'm so happy."
On the show's September 1 episode, Sutton opened up about what the new home means to her. "I personally was kind of a shell of a person after my divorce was announced, and ended up at the finish line with a new house and a new Bentley and great friends and living my best life," she said. "This house kind of represents my independence as a single woman." She added, "I think that this is just so symbolic to me."
For nearly a year, Sutton rented Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's Bel-Air home for $20,000 per month while her house was under construction. In an episode interview, Kyle joked, "While Sutton's waiting for her house to be ready, I'm just, like, counting the rent."
After many delays, Sutton finally announced in an August 24 Instagram Story that she was moving into the $5.35 million house. As she showed an empty room filled with dozens of boxes, she wrote, "When the boxes move in, you know it's real!" In a separate post, she added, "Let the real unpacking begin…"
