Taylor Armstrong’s lips were certainly a hot topic during her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Now, the OG alum who appeared on the first three seasons of the show, is opening up about the “painful” procedure she underwent to get her often talked-about pout.

“I just want to set the record straight,” Taylor explained in a Bravo Insider exclusive Life After Bravo clip, which you can check out, above. “They are implants, it was a mistake in my 20s, and they are here to stay.”

During a conversation with Kim Richards in Season 3, Taylor detailed the procedure, noting, “They do an incision, and then they dig a tunnel with a probe all the way through your lip, to pull it through the other side.”

It definitely doesn’t sound comfortable! Taylor described the discomfort she experienced during and after the procedure, saying, “It was so painful and such a regret, and they were so swollen, and it was horrible. But that’s what it is.”

In the years since the procedure, Taylor has toyed with the idea of having her implants removed. However, according to a trusted familiar face (RHOBH alum Dr. Paul Nassif), removing them could create an even bigger issue.

“Paul Nassif and I have talked about taking them out before, and he has warned me against it,” explained Taylor. “Just because, there is probably so much scar tissue after all these years, that we really don’t know what that result could be like.”

So, according to Taylor, the lip implants are here to stay.

“Even though Andy [Cohen] calls them pillow lips—because I did kiss him once—I’m going to keep them.”
