Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's Hair and Nails Are Slowly Becoming a "Hot Mess"

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave may be better than most at being motivated to work out during self-quarantine. But when it comes to her at-home beauty skills, Teddi might want to take a few notes from fellow The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills beauty Kyle Richards.

While Kyle has been busy dyeing her surprisingly gray hair with salon-quality results, the almost "fully brunette" Teddi was discovering her first official gray hair. Now the California fitness pro is challenging her followers to share their self-quarantine beauty woes as a result of not being able to hit the salon. 

It all started when Teddi, fresh from giving birth to her baby, Dove, transitioned into self-quarantine. The busy entrepreneur, like all of us, has gone many days without tending to her hair and nails — and it's starting to show. "Quarantine Day 12," captioned a selfie where her dark roots and chipped nails are on full display, "... and it looks like my hair and nails have received the memo to social distance themselves from me." 

Not only is this hilarious, but it is also totally relatable, as Teddi found out from her friends. "After chatting with my girls I realized I am not the only one. Who else out there is with me?! If so, snap a pic and @ me with the hashtag #hotmessrootandnailchallenge and I’ll try to share some of the best ones!" she wrote.

That's right, Teddi wants to see your worn-out weaves, tired tresses, and neglected nails — because we're all in this together. Now this is a challenge we can get behind.

Luckily, we only have to wait until The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres on Wednesday, April 15 at 9/8c to see Teddi glammed up.
