"Last night we found an owl that had flown into our glass railing by the pool which was, like, so scary. He was completely stuck," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member said in an Instagram Story video the following day. "The kids and I started frantically calling every wildlife rescue. I mean, we were Googling, we were calling. I probably left over 30 voice messages. We couldn't get ahold of anybody."

Showing a picture of the owl trapped beneath the glass, Teddi recalled her stress at the time as she felt there was no way to safely reach it. "This was the poor guy completely stuck," she wrote. "And it felt impossible to get to him [because] the edge was over the mountain!"

Thankfully, Teddi reached out to a familiar face who successfully freed the owl. "I was reminded about Jean-Claude. He's helped us with stuff around the house before," Teddi said in her video. "I sent him a text message, he was here within 20 minutes and he worked for over six hours to save this owl."

Sharing another photo of the bird, Teddi noted that: "Shortly after this at 1am - this beautiful owl flew away safe and sound."

In April, Teddi's RHOBH castmate Kyle Richards had her own bird rescue mission. After finding ducks stuck underneath her pool cover motor, Kyle and her youngest daughter, Portia, held the ducks with gloved hands as they ran to place them in the family's backyard pond.  "We saved them," Kyle wrote at the time.  "It was a family effort."
