The Agency Shares Plan to Operate from Home Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
The RHOBH husband and MDLLA agents plan to continue brokerage business as usual.
From Lisa Vanderpump to Bravo’s Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio, Bravolebrities who run public-facing businesses are having to decide how to proceed in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Now, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Kyle Richards' husband Mauricio Umansky is making some temporary changes to the way his company, boutique brokerage firm The Agency, operates, to ensure agents like Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles' David Parnes and James Harris will continue to work safely.
On March 16, The Agency released a statement regarding plans on to proceed during this uncertain period.
“Our thoughts are with those affected by COVID-19 (Coronavirus), as well as healthcare professionals, government officials and organizations working tirelessly on containment and caring for those in need. At The Agency, the health and safety of our clients, agents and staff is our top priority. We remain fully operational—with our dedicated staff working from home—and are following all guidelines set forth by government and industry associations. From our family to yours, please stay safe and healthy during this time.”
In the meantime, it looks like Mauricio is practicing social distancing from his home with wife Kyle. On March 17, three days into the self-quarantine, Kyle shared a family update with Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’s Instagram followers.
“We have been home cooking, cleaning, eating, watching movies, and starting to get a little stir-crazy already,” she revealed.
At least the Umanskys have a “new member” of the family keeping them busy! On March 5, they brought home a German Shepherd puppy named Luna. Kyle explained that although she was supposed to just be a foster pet, the family decided to keep her forever.
