Spotlight Sutton On Bravo Before

Sutton Stracke is one of the newer members of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills bunch, having made her inaugural appearance on the show as a friend back in Season 10 before officially becoming a Housewife in the current Season 11

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

However, RHOBH is far from being Sutton's first time in front of the camera. In fact, fans may recognize her from another Bravo series.

Sutton previously appeared on Dukes of Melrose, which aired one season on Bravo back in 2013. Dukes of Melrose chronicled the daily operations of Christos Garkinos and Cameron Silver's Los Angeles boutique, Decades, which specializes in vintage couture (Christos has since left Decades).

During an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider in May, Sutton recalled not exactly being ready for her close-up on Dukes of Melrose. "It was awkward," Sutton said of joining her friend, Cameron, on the show. "I did not want to do it, but I did it for Cameron, and we were in Paris together on a couture buy, and I think we went to a Paris auction."

Back in 2013, Sutton shared a still of another one of her Dukes of Melrose cameos on Instagram in which she noted that she was a "proud mama" watching Cameron receive The Art of Elysium's Visionary Award in one of the episodes that season.

Even though Sutton wasn't the most comfortable in front of the camera yet, she said that she still enjoyed the adventure with Cameron. "We had fun," she said. "It was a very different experience than doing Housewives. I’ll say that. It was different, completely."

Sutton said that she and Cameron are still friends today. "He is a doll, and, you know, he kind of introduced me to a lot of things in Paris, but because I got to go by myself, I would go by myself with Cameron. So, we became shopping buddies. And to not have, like, a husband around or anything like that, we got to do some really fun things," Sutton shared. "So, yeah, we’re still very close."

As you can see, Sutton and Cameron still love to get their shopping on together today.

You'll also often see them sending each other shout-outs on social media.

Sutton isn't the only familiar face to have popped up on Dukes of Melrose. One of the many celebrities to have appeared on the show was none other than Sutton's fellow Beverly Hills Housewife Garcelle Beauvais, who enlisted the help of Christos to find a gown to wear to Elton John's Oscars party.

In case you were wondering, Garcelle and Christos are also very much in touch today. Garcelle recently reunited with her "BFF" for the first time in a year and called their lunch the "best day ever" in a post on Instagram on June 3.

Now that Sutton is firmly a part of the reality TV landscape as a cast member on RHOBH, she couldn't be happier to be holding a diamond this season. "It’s so exciting," Sutton told Bravo Insider. "It is such an honor, and I'm so happy that, you know, it came to fruition."

In her second season on the show, Sutton said that she not only "absolutely" got to connect more with the RHOBH ladies, but viewers will also get to know her on a deeper level. "I think meeting people is hard enough in normal life, and so meeting people while you're filming a television show is, it kind of [exacerbates] that situation," Sutton said. "So, it was nice to walk in already knowing almost everybody, so I could be way more relaxed and more myself… I was super, more myself, I think."
