This Is How Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Stays Healthy on Set: "You Can't Get Desperate"
The RHOBH pal is filming a new movie, but she won't let craft services get the best of her.
By now, you probably know that Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is pretty darned disciplined when it comes to her diet. The professional accountability coach subs in chickpea pasta for the regular stuff. And though she may have a burger on her cheat days, she skips the bun. But, now that she's filming a movie, can the fitness buff resist the charms of — cue scary music — craft services?
As Teddi's fellow Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal Lisa Rinna has shown us, craft services can be a bit of a mixed bag. But more often that not, the tables filled with snacks for a film project's cast and crew yield quite a bit of temptation. And of course, Teddi knows just the thing to help her resist those pesky (and delicious!) sweets and savories.
"This is how I handle crafty," she told The Feast in the clip above, as she ran on by the table of food with her hand up like a blinder. "Keep moving, keep walking!" she said.
No, but seriously: if you must stop and snack, do it wisely. "There's always apples, there's chicken, there's cabbage, there's healthy things," she reasoned.
Teddi was offering her tips from the set of Next Level, which is the first movie she's acted in since she was 10 years old. "It's a long day, but you have to figure [healthy eating] out," she said. "You can't get desperate," she added, mentioning that cravings for chips and cookies can sneak up on set.
