The Real Housewives of Dallas’ Brandi Redmond has been very open about her pregnancy struggles — and her wish for a little boy. That means when fellow RHOD mom Stephanie Hollman — who happened to be a former social worker — learned of a baby boy in need of a home, her first text was to her Dallas pal.
“It’s the thing I’m the most proud of in our friendship,” Hollman shared with PEOPLE. “I know she has wanted another baby forever, and a baby boy at that. To be a part of fulfilling that dream for her, even in the smallest way, is just so, so special.”
Brandi let us all in on her journey as, just seven days after she received that text, she and her husband Bryan were off to the hospital to meet a little boy who was up for adoption. We were behind-the-scenes for the whole process — laughing right along with the social workers as their sassy daughters shared a little too much — and it’s so clear this new party of five was meant to be.
“He’s our miracle baby,” Brandi told PEOPLE earlier this year about the boy they've named Bruin (with the help of their daughters Brooklyn and Brinkley). “He’ll always look like he came from me, which he did — he came from my heart."
We can promise that you’ll see just how quickly they fall in love with the new addition when watching these videos (above) — but we can’t promise that you won’t cry. Actually, maybe you should just grab the tissues now before watching ... just in case.
