Kameron Westcott: D'Andra Is Always the Victim

"It seems like D’Andra and Dee prefer to deflect and vilify rather than take an honest look in the mirror."

Bravotv.com: How did you feel when watching the conversation between D'Andra and her mother at their office pertaining to you and Jimmy?

How to Watch

Catch up on The Real Housewives of Dallas on Peacock or the Bravo App.

Kameron Westcott: You know what they say about only children. I think the saying might have originated from D'Andra. The world revolves around D'Andra, and D'Andra is always the victim, and to her mother, D'Andra can do no wrong. (Note: Not all only children are this way, and I have many friends that are only children who are extremely independent.)

D'Andra asked for my mother-in-law’s and my opinion, and we gave her our honest answer. We told her that we were concerned for her, not as "mean girls" but as genuine friends trying to look out for her.

D'Andra Simmons Is Done Talking

Regardless of what people say about her in Dallas, Jimmy and I were concerned about her personal self-worth. Jimmy had other conversations with D'Andra before, so it's not anything unusual. We have always loved her for who she is and told her that we love and support her always and also said all of this in that same conversation. But...can you really love yourself if you are putting a Keurig Cup up your butt in any situation? We just wanted to make sure everything was OK on the inside and make sure that her recent unusual behavior was not from a deeper seeded issue, but of course, D'Andra says we "attacked her."

Also, I really didn’t appreciate the way Dee scoffed at my mother-in-law being a Grande Dame. To me, a “Grande Dame” is someone that cares about and gives back to her community, and my mother-in-law set the standard. She is someone who always helps those in need at all times! Plus, her list has more things that are not even included. It seems like D’Andra and Dee prefer to deflect and vilify rather than take an honest look in the mirror.

I am sorry that D’Andra feels like I attacked her, but she is taking her anger out on me when her anger should be focused on herself for letting her values go and demeaning herself in order to be in what she considers "the cool crowd." I am genuinely concerned. As the friend that I am, though, I have always told her that I would have her back and love and support her no matter what. She knows the intentions we had at the lake. She knows how we treat our friends. She knows we are loving and only have good in us. She knows. She is just looking for drama and looking for attention in this particular group of ladies, and I truly feel sorry for her!

Bravotv.com: What were your feelings going into the Copenhagen trip?

KW: Overall, I am super excited to hang out with the girls but am concerned that D’Andra and I have unfinished business. I’m going to try to avoid D’Andra and keep to myself and just have a good time with the girls! This is Cary’s trip, and I don’t want this to affect us from having fun! Copenhagen, here we come!!!
