Stephanie Hollman: This Is Going a Little Too Far

"For some reason the word 'alcoholic' is being passed around in this group like champagne at a party."

By Stephanie Hollman

Well I guess the cat is out of the bag: I AM GETTING MARRIED …again! Being married to Travis is so nice, I'm doing it twice! I mean he is about to become a Harvard man for goodness sakes. Dreams really do come true (mine, not his). I am putting a ring on it and trapping his ass- WINNING!
My only goal for the month while he is gone is to stay out of the looney tune bin. But just like Travis’ giant book, I am going to take it one page at a time! Honestly my fear lies in the fact that I don't want Travis to think that he is smarter than me, which he already totally does, but I don't want him to like ACTUALLY become smarter than me. That brings me back to the whole trapping his ass thing. See, I’m not as dumb as you may think!
I am so thankful that Travis called Brandi to assist him in picking out my new ring, because Brandi helped Travis pick out my engagement ring. Not to mention DeBoulle never disappoints!
For some reason the word “alcoholic” is being passed around in this group like champagne at a party. Let’s be clear, no one in our circle of friends fits the true definition of an “alcoholic.” I mean I told travis that I wanted to get “drunk and sloppy” at our vow renewal. Does that mean I have a drinking problem? Absolutely not! My point here being that I don’t think LeeAnne is saying that Brandi is an alcoholic because she is genuinely concerned that she has a drinking problem, she is saying it because she is upset at Brandi for bringing up her marriage. I know that these ladies have their issues, but this is going a little too far, and the allegations that are being thrown around have no merit. I don't like the conversations that are circulating around the group right now—ANY of them.
D’Andra’s cooking class looked fun, but I am thankful that I wasn’t there, because if I have to hear one more time about how “society” doesn’t like someone or something, I am going to lose it! I have said it before and I will say it again: We should not care about what such a small group of individuals think of us. If there is a group of people that want to judge me and tell me my worth based on their opinion of how I live my life, I have no interest in their opinion. I am proud of D’Andra for not conforming to society’s standards of who they think she should be.
Tune in next week. I head down the aisle and across the world for our girls trip to Copenhagen!
