Caroline Brooks Reveals Why Creating an Inclusive Spa & Salon in Dubai “Was a Must”
The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member opened up about the importance of establishing a salon that catered to everyone’s beauty needs.
During the June 22 episode of The Real Housewives of Dubai, Caroline Brooks declared, “I’m the queen of going to spas and [the] salon.” Because of her passion for skincare and haircare, the former real estate director decided to break into the beauty space and create her own luxury salon that addressed the needs of women of all skin colors, skin types, and hair textures.
Caroline opened up more about her business venture, The Glass House Salon and Spa, in the episode. “This is my dream,” she said while touring properties to establish her store. “This is what I’ve always wanted to do.”
Caroline’s desire to open a salon, aside from the fact that she is “obsessed with everything glam,” is rooted in her experiences with beauty. “Becoming a salon and spa owner became a dream of mine when I realized there was a gap in the market here in Dubai,” she explained in an interview. “We have a hundred spas, but are they inclusive? No.”
“I’m a woman of color,” she continued. “Not all lasers are safe for my skin color. Not all treatments are OK for my hair. So I was going to 10 different places to do different things. Opening up [a] spa and salon for all colors, textures was a must.”
Caroline has high hopes for her business. “My spa and salon is going to be the glam central of Dubai,” she stated. “I’m super excited to blow every salon out of the water. This is gonna be the one.”
