Here's a Sneak Peek at What's to Come on The Real Housewives of Dubai

Chanel Ayan declared in the June 1 episode of The Real Housewives of Dubai, “I am a badass bitch” — and she wasted no time proving her point. A woman of many, many talents, Ayan is a fashion and beauty expert, a mother, and the owner of a successful talent agency. She is also Dubai’s first Black supermodel.

How to Watch

Watch the Season 2 premiere of The Real Housewives of Dubai Sunday June 2nd at 9/8c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

While sharing a bit about her background, Ayan explained in the episode, “I grew up in a very small village in Kenya. . . I moved [to Dubai] 18 years ago with my husband and I didn’t know there was modeling or anything to do with fashion here when I moved here.” That quickly changed. “I was approached by a guy saying, ‘Hey, you can be a model,’” she recounted. “I started doing all the magazines, traveling around, getting to know people.”

From there, Ayan’s career took off. “I’ve traveled with big brands like Van Cleef, like Cartier, like Versace, like Dolce & Gabbana,” she said. Ayan has also appeared in campaigns for top designer brands like Dior and Valentino, modeled for exclusive couture labels, and walked in numerous runway shows, among other impressive accomplishments. (Her line of work has inspired her son to model as well.)

Aside from modeling, Ayan also has a makeup brand. She started AYAN Beauty with celebrity makeup artist Toni Malt, who also doubles as her glam team.

“I’m not bragging,” Ayan said of her notable resume. “Honey, I’m the best of the best there is. Period.”
