In October, supermodel Naomi Campbell put on a Fashion for Relief EMERGE runway show as part of her charity’s initiative with Qatar Creates to support up-and-coming creatives, reported People. And Chanel Ayan was chosen to strut her stuff down the runway alongside the queen of the catwalk herself.

To celebrate the fabulous occasion, The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member shared a glimpse of her experience in the EMERGE show on Instagram, posting a video that showed her walking in a black couture dress with a fitted, strapless midi silhouette, a large bustle and train, and exaggerated balloon sleeves. 

“This was everything I had ever dreamt of walking with iconic supermodel the Naomi Campbell on the same runway show,” Ayan captioned a video from the event that she shared to her Instagram on November 30. “Thank you so much [Naomi] for having me walk with you in your show. It was an honor and greatest most highest experience ever.”

Ayan mentioned on the premiere episode of RHODubai that in addition to being a mother and the owner of a successful talent agency, she was also Dubai’s first Black supermodel

“I grew up in a very small village in Kenya… I moved [to Dubai] 18 years ago with my husband, and I didn’t know there was modeling or anything to do with fashion here when I moved here,” she explained in the episode. “I was approached by a guy saying, ‘Hey, you can be a model.’ I started doing all the magazines, traveling around, getting to know people.”
