RJ's Birthday Drama
Lea was prepared to go out of her way to get Alex to RJ's party.
And the lies continue...
Where to even start?!
No, I didn't put an article in the paper about Adriana's marriage license. That has been proven over and over again. The original source was someone on Twitter who has subsequently acknowledged breaking the story.
For some sad reason Adriana continues to say I leaked the story when it can easily be proven that I didn't. I guess it just proves she has no limits to what she will say to blame others for her dishonesty and problems.
First she lies to Alex about her marriage for 5 years, then she lies to him saying I put the secret marriage certificate in the paper, then she keeps him from my son, and then she blames ME for hurting him? What?
No, I wasn't secretly married to Roy. We were 100% married but didn't think we were a big enough deal to notify the press. We still don't! Why would I think anyone outside of our families and friends would care about our nuptials? At the time Roy was more well-known than we thought, and I guess the press found it interesting that we had eloped. But we never lied about it, we just didn't put it in the press. And I didn't continue to date or use my friends to help me through my struggles. I have been married in my heart, on paper and without a ceremony, ever since.
And no, I didn't lie about my middle name "Lisa," it’s been on my birth certificate and my driver’s license my whole life.
So now that we've set that record straight once again, let's move on. (Adriana, there's an old adage: when you find yourself in a hole, quit digging. This hole you're digging is quickly becoming quicksand.)
Yes, I texted Alex, like I have always done since he first got a text phone when he was about ten years old. RJ is two years younger, so he wasn't texting back then, so I texted Alex, like always, about play dates, sleep overs, and yes, the birthday party. Why would Adriana be so put off by it now and not let him respond? And yes, the boys would run into each other at school once in a while and sometimes lunched together, but they are in separate grades.
For the sake of my son, I continued to be nice to Adriana even when her behavior confirmed she was not worthy of it. RJ’s birthday party was a riot -- we all had fun and once again we don't allow our circumstances to dictate our lives -- we just make the best of them. It was kind of like life -- can be a gentleman’s party or a war zone depending on what you choose to make of it. Nobody RAINS on our parade for long! LOL!
And to set another record straight, I've never referred to myself as a witch, I don't have a black cat, and I don't do voodoo or santeria. Any magic I do must be diamond magic, because my life is pretty good!
I stopped by to see Joanna's new house and to give her some moral support. I love Joanna and can't stress enough how good of a friend she has been to me. Joanna's heart was breaking because she truly missed Marta, so along came Charlie’s Angels -- Lisa and Lea "Lisa" to the rescue! Fun times to come. I so admire Joanna for her wearing her heart on her sleeve, her authenticity, her willingness to share her pain in so many areas of her life, and the love she has for her sister. And I adore Marta! So precious! Stay tuned for more of her very touching moments.
Lisa, congratulations! You are amazing with your in-laws. Sometimes I sense they long to adore you and they do, but they just won't show it! You're a real trooper for your patience and good intentions. And I do hope that was my Sudden Youth facial you put on Marina! LOL!
And thanks for not getting sucked into bitterness and hatred. Your spirit is far too good for that. You are a woman of character and conviction, and I'm proud to call you a friend. The trip to LA turns out to be way too much fun! Charlie’s Angels -- just what the doctor ordered for the Joanna blues.
It was great seeing Alexia, Herman, and Frankie. My admiration goes to the family in support of Frankie and to Frankie himself with his progress. His spirit truly has no boundaries. He is simply delicious with his hugs and flirts and kisses! Squeezably soft , and a heart of gold.
Hats off to Romain for being willing to overlook the two very nasty tweets from Frederic and Adriana about him and Joanna. Can you imagine how far the grudge would go and all the drama that would have followed if it were Romain and Joanna sending out the nasty tweets? It's the difference between self-respect, class, and maturity. Let's leave it at that.
