Here's What Happened When Marysol Patton Spilled Red Wine on Larsa Pippen's $35,000 Rug
The RHOM cast member's party took a turn when Marysol accidentally left her drink on a very expensive rug.
Larsa Pippen's Miami apartment has some notably fancy features. There's "the coolest TV ever" in her bedroom (check it out in the video above), the large green elephant in her living room, and, as she revealed on Season 6, Episode 3 of The Real Housewives of Miami, a very expensive rug.
During the episode, which aired on November 15, Larsa was hosting a "welcome home" party for her boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, who had been away for five days. She went all out for the event, serving delicious food and a variety of drinks, including the red wine that Marysol was sipping on before placing it down on Larsa's rug.
As Larsa was mingling with her guests, she gasped, "You guys spilled wine on my rug! Marysol, you spilled your wine." Turning to Marysol, she stated, "That rug is $35,000."
Marysol instantly apologized before pointing to the stain being blotted with club soda. "They cleaned it up," Marysol said. Still, Larsa warned, "Don't put your drink on that rug."
The two quickly moved on from the accidental spill, with Larsa telling Marysol, "I love you." Once that was settled, Marysol headed to the kitchen, explaining, "I need a new drink."
Craig Conover spilled wine on Patricia Altschul's couch
Marysol's not the only Bravoleb who has accidentally spilled red wine on a pricy home piece. During Season 8 of Southern Charm, Craig Conover accidentally spilled red wine on Patricia Altschul's carpet and $45,000 sofa. On Season 9, Episode 7 of the show, he was in disbelief to see the couch clean, stating, "The fact that [the stain] came out of the couch is incredible."
Larsa Pippen's party for Marcus Jordan
Spills and stains aside, Larsa's party was a success — although it did confuse some of her castmates. "Who the hell has a party for someone they haven't seen for five days?" Lisa Hochstein asked, then telling Larsa, "It's ridiculous, which is why I love you." When Kiki Barth arrived, she declared in an interview, "I really thought Larsa was joking."
Marcus was especially surprised. When he walked in the door to see the group of friends and the apartment decorated with balloons and sweet signs, he said, "This is awesome," before asking, "What the f--k is going on?"
As the group had dessert, Larsa shared that instead of the party, she was "really thinking about buying [Marcus] a diamond bracelet" to welcome him home. However, Alexia Nepola stated, "He likes this more than a diamond bracelet."
