Jacqueline Laurita Reveals What She Misses Most About Her Former New Jersey Home
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum has a studious choice.
Jacqueline Laurita's six-bedroom, six-bathroom Bergen County mansion was built in 2001 and renovated just a few years ago, but The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum has recently made the move to the West Coast. That doesn't mean she isn't missing her New Jersey home, though.
The Laurita family relocated to her home state of Nevada this summer, but she and her daughter Ashlee Holmes Malleo and her grandson Cameron took one last nostalgic trip through the house on a whirlwind 48-hour trip to Jersey.
"My favorite room was the library, that was my favorite room," Jacqueline revealed on her Instagram Stories. "All right, I’m done, going back home now — to Las Vegas, isn’t that weird?!"
Ashlee revealed on her Instagram Stories that she has a different favorite part of the house.
“This kitchen is probably the most important room in that house to me," she wrote. "It’s the one I will miss the most. Not my bedroom, this one. The most memories took place in that room. I even announced my pregnancy to my parents and brother in that room, and when we first brought Cameron home from the hospital we sat him on that kitchen island first. It’s seen many holidays, and much, MUCH laughter. It’s seen many lectures and life lessons. Friends of mine have been a part of life-changing conversation and late night motivational talks in that kitchen. Late night snack raids. Even though I know that it’s time for the next chapter, I will miss this house for the rest of my life."
Jacqueline still hasn't sold the home despite it being on the market for nearly six months. She and her husband, Chris Laurita, are reportedly facing foreclosure on the property and have reduced the asking price from $1.9 million to $1.75 million. (Take a tour of the home, if you're curious!)
Hopefully, the Laurita family will find the perfect buyer who will love the house as much as they do and will make great memories in it.
