It's Her Party...
Jacqueline thinks Milania will be a very successful business woman.
I have some blog catching up to do! Here's a two in one. First, I must address 9/11. As I sat there with my husband watching documentaries in remembrance of 9/11, our heart ached for the victims of this horrendous tragedy. There is no consoling those friends and families who have lost their loved ones. Everyone heals at their own pace and in their own way. All we can do is to look out for one another, offer our support, and wait until we are needed to share a hug, a cry, an ear to listen, or whatever else they need to help make their days a little easier and to let them know there will be a brighter future. Time may not heal all wounds, but it does help to ease the pain.
Sometimes even the worst of tragedies can bring about positive change. Out of these hateful attacks on our country, something beautiful came. We proved to the world just how strong and powerful we truly are by pulling together, united, showing tremendous amounts of love, compassion, and support for one another as well as our perseverance to continue on, despite our losses and our pain while we work together to rebuild our lives and our communities. Complete strangers were helping strangers of all races, ages, genders, religions, occupations, lifestyles, etc. They helped by bringing others to safety and by comforting and supporting one another. People were sharing and giving their personal belongings to those in need. Businesses offered free services, donated their food, clothes, or whatever else was needed that they could offer. Many volunteered their time and labor skills to help clean up the devastation so we could start to rebuild. We will keep moving forward. Evil may have hurt us, but it also succeeded in making us stronger. It only motivated this country to pay more attention to our surroundings and appreciate our lives and others. It brought us all closer together. I'd like to say thank you to all of our heroes, who risked or lost their own lives trying to save others, our volunteers, who went above and beyond to help by offering their services, and let's not forget our troops, who will continue to serve, protect, and fight for our country to prevent more evil from harming us. I appreciate you all! We were all victims in the 9/11 attacks in one way or another. May your broken hearts mend but never, ever forget! Best wishes, love and prayers for all! XOXO!
Hurricane Irene, you are such a bitch! Please don't ever come back into our lives again! For all of those that have lost their homes, their livelihoods, their most cherished personal possessions, and even their loved ones (pets included) in these natural disasters, my heart and my prayers go out to you and your families. Cherish all you still have and what you will create in the future. Remember who and what are truly important in life, be grateful for them, and don't take them for granted. You will always have more and less than somebody else. Start making and documenting your new memories now. Try not to worry so much. Things always have a funny way of working out. You are all going to be OK. Never be too proud to ask for help when needed, but always be sure to be willing to help others as well. I wish you health, happiness, and the perseverance to continue on even when you feel like giving up. XOXO!
You know me long enough to know that I've never been one to push a product or endorse something that I didn't believe in and haven't used myself. I believe in BLK and I want you to know why. I wanted to start off by telling you a little about our BLK water and how it came about. It is my belief that everyone should be educated about the benefits of fulvic acid. BLK originated from two Canadian sisters, Jackie and Louise, who are in the natural/organic food business. They came across fulvic acid (FA) when researching nutritional support for their mother, who was diagnosed with breast cancer eight years ago. They thought FA was folic acid and moved on. When their mother was diagnosed with bone cancer four years later (and was told she had six months to get her affairs in order), they again looked for help. Coming across fulvic acid again, they were impressed with everything they read about it. Their mom isn't very good at taking pills, so they gave it to her in a powdered form in water...and out of the love for their mother, BLK water was born.
They met my husband and Albie at a trade show last summer. The boys originally just wanted to possibly help market BLK until they learned just how incredible it really was. The boys gathered up my other nephews, Christopher, Joey, and honorary nephew, Gianluca, and the families joined forces. Jackie and Louise's mother is still alive today. It is their belief that the fulvic acid had a huge part in what has helped to keep her alive. Since the launch of BLK, we have received letter after letter about how it has helped many people with many different conditions, ailments, and diseases including people and children with AIDS, cancer, MS, arthritis, Alzheimer’s, autism, etc. It has often been said that it helps cure a hang over.
Check out www.blkbeverages.com. The water is black because the humic in fulvic acid is naturally black. Fulvic acid has no taste, so you will just taste our Canadian spring water. Natural flavored BLK is coming out soon in berry, citrus, and mango. They are also coming out with a BLK concentrate. Enjoy! XOXO!
Now to address what I remember from last week's show. Was that the hookah episode? Fun night at Aladdin in Hackensack, NJ. Great food, and I was very entertained there. Nothing in the hookah was illegal, I assure you. I can't say that it didn't stop me from feeling a little silly. I have to take the credit for tying Joey's shirt like Daisy Duke and telling him to go dance. You're welcome. He's a great sport.
I think the misunderstanding about Teresa’s book signings was that Teresa assumed that Melissa or Joe must have learned about them from Facebook, so she never picked up the phone to tell them about it. Joe and Melissa had never been to a book signing before, and they didn't know how it worked, so they waited for a personal invite. This time, to end the confusion, Teresa personally invited them and this time Melissa and Joe showed up as well as Kathy and Richie. Hooray! Communication is key! The problem is that as much as each of them want the other’s efforts to mend things to be real, they are definitely having some trust issues with believing each other's sincerity. Fake it until you make it, remember? They have got to start somewhere. It's painful to watch them all hurting, but that's how I know the love is still there, and it makes me think there is still hope for reconciliation. They just have to work on having mutual respect and learn each other's boundaries. They also need to be more aware and concerned about who is getting caught in the crossfire. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own emotions that we forget to notice that other people are affected too.
What else do I remember from last week’s show? Uh, do you mean besides Joe Guidice's hostility and loss of his front tooth? I really wasn't going to mention that, but hey, it's kind of hard to pass up and I know that Joe is a good sport about it. At least Joe was numb enough not to feel that face dive AND he got a couple beautiful brand new teeth because of it. Teresa likes them even better now anyway.... but holy crap the sound of his teeth hitting the floor sends chills up my spine! I may or may not have watched that a few hundred times in fast, normal, and in slow motion. I'm telling my dentist to forget the Novocain from now on and just to give me a jug of Joe's wine!
Sh-- happens when you drink too much. It could have been a lot worse. I think a lot of people have made some bad choices when they've been drinking. Anger can also build up over time. It comes out easier and more freely when you drink. He vented. The anger will taper off along with the hangover. The families just have some deep seeded issues to work through and get over. It will happen. Just like in every family when given enough time. Everyone just needs to make sure that they always do the right thing and not worry about getting even or think too much about what anyone else is doing or not doing or even if they are being sincere or not. Someone has got to start bringing about a positive change to stop the vicious cycle. Usually, if you change your own ways, the other person will start to respond to you differently.
Next episode. Cupid’s Chase is a national 5K run that takes place in twenty-four cities, throughout ten states, on the same day and at the same time. Community Options, Inc. (COI) is the host of the national Cupid’s Chase 5K Run. COI is a national nonprofit that has been developing community-based homes and employment supports for people with disabilities since 1989. So there! Please excuse me for not remembering why and who the heck I was walking for in the freezing cold at 7:00am (or something like that). I'm not even sure who really won. I think Kathy did out of us Housewives. I think Teresa, Joe, Kathy, Rich and their kids ran the whole course fairly. They get an A for effort. I think young Joseph Wakile won to be honest. He was hauling ass! Most of us cheated. It was freaking cold out that day!
I also had bad pains in my stomach and back like a pulled muscle or something that I thought was kidney stones, but as it turned out, it wasn't. Now that I look back, it was probably trapped gas. LOL! It never came out. I'm certainly not a runner either. "My boobs don't run." It forces unnecessary gravity on them too hard and too fast. A girl of my age shouldn't be adding to the Earth's natural gravity pull on my breasts. Like I said, I like to walk fast and squeeze my butt cheeks together to help get them firm. It works for me. Pushing the stroller adds great resistance as well.
I'll pretty much do anything for charity, but when it's a race in the freezing cold, I'd rather just donate some bills then grab a cup of coffee and cheer everyone on. I could have been waiting at the finish line holding onto that jug of wine and bag of sausage Joe brought. Good thinking, Joe! Tailgate party! Yahoo! The zebra hat I wore actually belongs to my babysitter, Sarah (@sarahrehovrik) Jealous? You can get one and others like it at http://www.parisian-dayspa.com She left it at my house one day, so I borrowed it. It was so me.
I have to thank Charlotte Reed (Pet Expert) www.charlottereed.com for the pet products I've received from her. The pet toy Santino, my dog, was throwing around was from her. She has been very good to him, and he enjoys and appreciates everything he's gotten from her.
When Teresa and Melissa were talking on the phone "at" each other, I really couldn't make out what either of them were saying. They just kept speaking over each other. It reminded me of Ashley and I, and just like us, I saw how quickly things could escalate between them. I knew Milania's Birthday party was approaching, and all I could think of was that all the tension between the Joes could possibly turn the birthday party into something that resembled the christening part two. That was a frightening thought.
Lauren and Vito making mozzarella to sexy music and handling it like Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze making pottery was glorious to watch! Just because of that, I also want to have a sexy night of mozzarella making now with my hunny! Get ready, Chris! We are going to work it nice and slow, baby. Can't wait! I'm even going to play sexy background theme music to set the mood.
"Princess Milania at your servant?" Bahahaa! I love Teresa-isms. I think she meant to say, "at your service." This is one of the reasons we love Teresa. Sticking her butthole in her husband’s face while sitting on it after having the runs, is another reason. What? Come on, you mean to tell me that you’ve never done that to your man? LOL! They are just so funny together. If Teresa runs with the runs, then I should have been able to run with my trapped gas. She's a trooper.
Joeboken night out looked like a lot of fun! Why weren't the rest of us invited? Are we too old? Am I the ugly, old, boring aunt now? When did this happen? Hello?
It's Milania's Birthday party and she can cry if she wants to. Cry if she wants to. Cry if she wants to. I like a girl who knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to get it. If she uses this trait positively and correctly when she's older, it will work to her advantage. She will be the boss of her own business and her workers will be productive and fear her. LOL! I truly love Milania.
I thought the pizza making party was a brilliant idea. Kids love that stuff! Edible play. Perfect! I thought it was absolutely adorable that Gia wrote and performed that song for her sister. I just hope that Gia doesn't try to make up a birthday song for me next April, because she will be there all day, "First she was one, then she was two, then she was three, then she was four, then she was five, then she was six, then she was seven, then she was eight, then she was nine, then she was ten… Ugh! Then she multiplied that by four and added two!" LOL!
The second song Gia wrote and performed was heartbreaking. She sent such a big message for such a little girl. I think it brought tears to everyone's eyes. We could feel the pain in her heart. Hopefully that triggered a reality check and was a wake up call for all involved to try to mend their differences. Keep the faith, I think you all may be pleasantly surprised.
See you next week! Love to all! XOXO!
