Caroline Manzo Has a Deep-Fryer Built Right into Her Kitchen Counter
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum has some professional-grade fried chicken coming out of her kitchen.
Sunday pasta is a tradition at Caroline Manzo's New Jersey home. But every now and then, her family switches up the menu to include a different type of comfort food — one that makes use of Caroline's in-home deep fryer.
In a recent Instagram post, The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum shared the action in her kitchen on a weekend afternoon. "Fried chicken Sunday with [Chris Manzo] at the helm," she wrote, referring to her pizzeria-owner son. In another post, Caroline showed chicken sizzling away in a fryer, and followers had some questions.
"You have a [frylator] built into your counter???" one fan asked. Caroline confirmed that she does, indeed, responding with a simple "yes" and a thumbs-up emoji.
The deep fryer wasn't the only thing Caroline's post revealed. She also shared the recipe for Chris' fried chicken, which has a rather nonstandard coating. "Bread that chicken!" she said. "Chris, what'd you coat it with?"
Chris responded: "We got a little cayenne, flour ... Fritos, Funyns, salt, white pepper, black pepper, and, uh, one more thing." But really, what more could one want than Funyuns?
