Caroline Manzo Shares an Adorable Update on Her Granddaughter Markie
For The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum, cooking is a family art — and training starts early.
They say the kitchen is the heart of the home, and that's certainly true at Caroline Manzo's family manse. The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum is famous for her fabulous pasta dishes — and she's not the only one in her family who knows her way around a Sunday sauce.
Caroline's brother Jaime Laurita is a celebrity chef, her daughter Lauren Manzo whips up delectable charcuterie boards, and her son Chris is a certified pizza pro. (We could go on: Ever heard of a restaurant called the Brownstone?) But as we now know, even Caroline's 3-year-old granddaughter Markie knows how to make breakfast from scratch.
In a recent Instagram share, the New Jersey grandmother shared a delicious update on the little one. Posting a photo of Markie studiously pouring some flower into a measuring cup, then stirring up batter like a pro, Caroline quoted the budding chef in her caption: "'DeeDee, I want to make Minnie waffles'" she wrote. "This little chick pea loves to cook."
