Dolores Catania Is Seeing a "Dramatic Difference" After New Anti-Sweat Procedure
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom got a non-surgical treatment to eliminate sweat and odor glands in the underarm area.
Dolores Catania will be having a less sweaty summer thanks to her latest cosmetic treatment. Days after showing off her three-week results from a recent tummy tuck, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom went back to social media to rave about a non-surgical procedure she tried through a partnership with Forever Medspa & Wellness Center.
"I’ve ruined so many couture clothes with sweat stains and deodorant, but I’m excited to say not anymore! I just received my miraDry treatment at @forever_medspa_nj and am already seeing a dramatic difference," she wrote in an Instagram post on July 1. MiraDry is a treatment that uses thermal energy to eliminate sweat and odor glands in the underarm area.
As Dolores explained the procedure is non-invasive: a local anesthetic is applied to numb the underarm area and then the hand device is placed directly on the skin to deliver heat to the sweat and odor glands, as we can see in Dolores' picture. The sweat-eliminating treatments cost about $2,300, and the results are immediate and permanent.
"I was in and out of the doctor’s office in just about an hour," she shared. In the comments section, Dolores revealed she got the treatment a week ago and hasn't "worn deodorant since."
