It Turns Out Jennifer Aydin Never Actually Liked Her "Regal, Ornate" Home Decor
The RHONJ cast member explains why she decided to transform the look of her New Jersey mansion.
After years of living in her opulent New Jersey home, Jennifer Aydin recently decided it was finally time to put her personal touch on the space.
"I have been waiting to redecorate my house for a long time," The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member said on the show's May 5 episode. "When I first moved into the house, I was really gravitating towards [my husband] Bill [Aydin]'s style. He loves elaborate, regal, ornate. And then the pandemic hit and I'm staring at it all day and night and I'm thinking how much I cannot stand this furniture."
During the episode, Jennifer was ecstatic as her new furniture and decor (including patterned rugs, chic tables, gorgeous seating, and eye-catching pillows) arrived, declaring, "The transformation is happening!"
Last summer, Jennifer took to Instagram to share details about the update to her home. "I don't know what you guys have been doing during quarantine, but I'm trying to clean stuff out and redecorate. Out with the old, in with the new," she said in a video. "So I am selling my furniture in this very fancy, what we like to call the ballroom. It's really a formal living room slash dining room and this is all my ornate furniture."
A few months later, she happily showed off her newly-furnished abode. "I'm going to show you a little bit of what Z Gallerie did to my great room. Is this the same room that had that big, ugly, comfy couch? Not anymore!" she said at the time. "No, it's not, no sir!"
