Jennifer Aydin's Sense of Taste Is Back After Testing Positive for Coronavirus
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member provided an update on what she's craving — and not in the mood for — as she recovers from COVID-19.
Jennifer Aydin recently celebrated her birthday with some iced coffee, homemade brownies, and a heart-shaped cake from her daughter Olivia. But there was one indulgence The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom decided to pass on, and that was liquor.
After a bout with COVID-19, Jennifer shared that she's getting her taste buds back, along with her sweet tooth. "Guilty!" she captioned an Instagram Story that showed off the sugary birthday treats she'd helped herself to.
She was even considering pouring herself a cocktail, which is rarity for the mom of five. (Jennifer dished on Stories that she doesn't typically drink around her family — only when she's out, and wants to catch a little buzz.)
But just when she'd picked her poison, tequila, the New Jersey 'Wife decided to stick with soft drinks. "I did not drink the tequila," she later shared. "I couldn't do it, I'm not ready. The thought of any alcohol right now makes me want to vomit. I'd rather have milk and cake ... and a brownie — but that's it!"
About those brownies, Jennifer confessed in another Instagram Story that the food is her "weak spot."
