Margaret Josephs' Self-Quarantine Birthday Includes a Beautiful Handmade Cake

Here are two things you should know about Margaret Josephs, in case you don't already: The Real Housewives of New Jersey entrepreneur loves to party, and she loves her cakes. (See the clip above for proof.) So even though her birthday rolled around during self-isolation — not exactly a prime time to party — "The Marge" still managed to celebrate with something sweet. 

In an Instagram post from April 9, the birthday girl wrote: "GRATEFUL is the theme of my Birthday today!! Grateful for all the posts, texts, calls and my beautiful family I am home with." In photos that accompanied the post, Margaret shared details from her special day — and it included the cutest handmade dessert. 

Whipped up by one of Margaret's old friends, the cake had chocolate frosting and colored sprinkles on top. To make it extra festive, the dessert had bright pink bursts of frosting forming rings around it, and a pink flower nestled against its base. (Click through the photos below to peep the cake.)

No birthday is complete without a cake. But on other days, Margaret has another sweet treat she swears by. The Macbeth Collection founder once shared an Instagram Story of herself eating Lucky Charms, and confessed: "Seriously, this is how I get through my days. At the end of the day, I'm so exhausted from working, I have no makeup on, I'm eating my Lucky Charms." 

Other sweets the birthday girl digs: Ice cream (unless it's chicken-flavored), donuts with her own face on them, and pink cake pops.
