In general, Housewives are a very resourceful group. Whether you want the lowdown on the health benefits of CBD oil or need an accountability coach to help you meet your fitness goals, we've got a 'Wife for that. But if you have any questions about making meatballs with "gravy" (or sauce, depending on where you're from), you should check in with The Real Housewives of New Jersey gang first.
After Dolores Catania schooled us in making homemade red sauce and Danielle Staub broke down her steps for having the best "pasta Sunday" ever, New Jersey alum Siggy Flicker is back with a tip on how to make the best meatballs in town.
In a January 13 Instagram post, the relationship expert showed a short clip of meatballs bubbling in a pan. (Hint: You'll want the sound on for this one.) In the caption, Siggy shared the exact ingredients that go into her delicious-looking dish: "Lamb, Beef & Veal mixed with eggs, fresh parsley, fresh garlic, fresh grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, a few slices white bread."
And, here's a quick tip for the gravy. Siggy's caption continued, "It doesn’t matter whether you call it GRAVY or SAUCE! To me it’s just delicious & when you don’t have time make the gravy/sauce from scratch then the next best thing is on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx - Mike’s Deli - David Greco’s famous marinara sauce."
But if you're nowhere near the Bronx, we think it's OK to just assume that Siggy doesn't have a major issue with using store-bought gravy in a pinch. So, watch us do that just. And in the meantime, we'll be salivating over this:
