Ramona Singer left her longtime NYC condo to move into a new apartment about 20 blocks south earlier this summer, but she hasn't spent much time there since she retreated to her newly-renovated Hamptons home for most of the season. (If you've seen her "happy place" there, you'll completely understand why she wasn't in Manhattan much!) Now, she's back and ready to keep making her new place her own.
"My first day back in the city in a long time and I'm gonna have some coffee," she said in a video posted to her Instagram Stories as java dripped into a Turtle Time mug. She panned her phone out to show an incredible view of the Big Apple from her dining room, which has a long, white lacquer table that seats eight.
"This is my view and I got my dining room table, which is very similar to my other table in my other apartment," she said, which mirrors her philosophy of keeping some design elements and furniture from her old spot so she still feels like she's at home. "So, welcome back to New York City, Ramona!" she told herself.
"It's good when you move that you have your same furniture, 'cause it makes you feel familiar and not so strange," she said in a quick video tour of her bedroom that she recently posted to her Instagram Stories. "And of course I have Bravo on tonight and I was watching Andy Cohen so I felt all at home with him with me."
"Change is good and hey, these views are pretty fab!" she added.
