Does Sonja Morgan Like Her New Title as Landlord of the Townhouse?

After finally making the decision to rent her former home, The Real Housewives of New York City entrepreneur has some *thoughts* about her new job title.

Welcome to Sonja's Crib

After nine years as a Housewife, Sonja Morgan has worn many hats. The Real Housewives of New York City entrepreneur has ventured into the businesses of fashionfootwear, alcoholic beverages, and even toaster ovens — but her latest journey into real estate has led her to a role we never thought we'd see her become: landlord!

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

If you followed along with Sonja's home ownership journey in Season 10 of RHONY, you'll know that she struggled to come to terms with moving out of her beloved townhouse in favor of smaller digs — but now that she's settled in to her new apartment (with curtains, in case you're wondering), she couldn't be happier about renting her former abode. (If you need a refresher, watch her townhouse tour in the clip above.)

"I adore my home where I raised my child, but the new apartment is more modern and just new for me, lighter," she told Home & Design earlier this year. "I have only two bedrooms instead of nine and, you know, I only have two toilets instead of nine."

And now that she finally has a renter for her townhouse, the new landlord is enjoying all of the free time she has to work on fixing up the space and do more of what she enjoys. "Getting up from under the house has released me emotionally and physically from it so that I can do more in the apartment, spend more time with my girlfriends, spend more time with my daughter and my fashion designs, and when I go to the house now as a landlord, I get it done and I leave it there," she shared.

Beyond that, Sonja also revealed that being a landlord benefits her physically, too! "I’m so active, for instance, in my townhouse 'cause I’m still a landlord when I go over there," she said. "I’m up and down the stairs and out in the backyard, fixing the pond. I’m very active getting that kind of work — cardio — all day long."

While we'll always love Sonja's townhouse, her new home is pretty amazing, too. Take a tour of her apartment in the clip below, and be sure to tune in to The Real Housewives of New York City on Wednesdays at 9/8c.
