Did You Catch Dorinda Medley's Connection to VMA Darling Cardi B?
Hint: It has to do with The Real Housewives of New York City fashionista's boyfriend, John Mahdessian.
We knew that Dorinda Medley had major connections to a literal princess (Princess Di!) and it turns out she's well within six degrees of separation from a rap princess, too. That would be Cardi B, who had a huge night yesterday at the MTV Video Music Awards and Dorinda's boyfriend John Mahdessian's tailoring and restoration company Madame Paulette played a role in Cardi's old-school-glam VMA look.
The Real Housewives of New York City beauty posted a shot of Cardi's stunning off-the-shoulder Nicolas Jebran velvet gown on her Instagram story, writing "@iamcardib paid a little visit to @madamepaulette." Cardi also tagged Madame Paulette in her getting-ready Instagram post.
This isn't the first time that the "I Like It" singer's turned to Mahdessian's company for a red carpet appearance. Madame Paulette tailored Cardi B's extravagant Grammys dress earlier this year. "We loved working with her," the company wrote on its blog. Hopefully this is the start of a beautiful friendship between Cardi and Dorinda, couldn't you see them get along?
