The Laundry Detergent That Has Carole Radziwill (and John Mayer!) "Obsessed"

When it comes to activities we fervently look forward to, doing laundry doesn't normally rank high on the list. But, thanks to a recent Instagram post from one of The Real Housewives of New York City cast members — and an online shopping break that ensued — we can't wait to run a few loads this evening. (RHONY airs Wednesdays at 9/8c.)

On June 27, Carole Radziwill posted about a few things that she and singer John Mayer have in common. Both are pals with Andy Cohen, she pointed out, and both like cats. But the thing that got our attention is this: Both the rockstar and the author are "obsessed" with The Laundress, a high-end brand of laundry detergent.

Carole added that Mayer even has a signature detergent for the line. And, in case you're wondering: "This isn't even an ad," Carole said. "I'm just weirdly crazy about chic laundry and home cleaners." 

How can a laundry detergent be good enough to make the preternaturally chic Carole "weirdly crazy about" it? Well, for one thing, check out the packaging: The black-and-white bottles are the most display-worthy thing we've ever seen come out of a laundry room.

The eco-friendly brand also crafts each of its products to work on a specific fabric or surface (so you know your goods are getting extra-targeted care.) And, the detergent's scent contains notes of gorgeously scented flowers like jasmine and lily of the valley.
