This Is Everything Dorinda Medley Used to Transform into Caroline Stanbury

To start the new year off with a bang, The Real Housewives of New York City's Dorinda Medley stepped out with a completely new look. We’re not talking about any regular makeover either. On New Year's Eve, Ladies of London's Caroline Stanbury — who happens to be Dorinda’s good friend and style crush — sent over her makeup artist Luke Henderson to give the Real Housewife the "Caroline" treatment.

For Dorinda's transformation, Henderson enlisted a team of PRIV professionals to help him out —  and this crew certainly *made it nice.* In fact, the beauty team was so nice that they even gave us the full scoop on how to recreate this Caroline makeover from start to finish.

To achieve this look, spray tan master Krista Mays began by using the Endless Glow treatment to give Dorinda that Caroline-level glow. She even contoured Dorinda's collar bones and cheek bones with the bronzing treatment.

Once Dorinda reached her goal tan, it was onto her ‘do. Hair guru Leola Brown was responsible for cutting and styling Dorinda's platinum blonde wig. "When wearing a wig, it's all about customizing the piece. Never just pull it out of the pack and wear it," Brown noted.

Once the wig was placed, she cut the wig into an angled bob and added subtle layers to match Caroline’s signature hairstyle. She then lightly curled the hair and added a few spritz of Redken Powder Grip 03 for texture.

While Brown perfected Dorinda’s new hairstyle, makeup artist Melissa Fiore worked on recreating Caroline’s signature glam. To complement the Real Housewife’s bright blue eyes and channel Caroline, Fiore created a bronzed smokey eye on Dorinda.

"To give Dorinda a smokey look, I used black liner inside of the waterline and around the eye and then smudged it with a brush. After that, I took a caramel color and softly blended it over the eyeliner in order to soften the black and give it a more sassy look," she said. Fiore then completed her eye look with a pair of Ardell falsies to add a bit more drama.

After applying foundation, Fiore used NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna to add extra depth and contour to her look. Then a few swipes of MAC Powder Blush in Margin, Coppertone, and Bright Pink, and glossy lips completed the look. 

Now, Dorinda's makeover wouldn't have been complete without a proper mani and pedi to match her outfit. As the final touch, nail expert Cynthia Casado prepped Dorinda's nails with Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil, and then painted her fingers and toes with Essie Nail Color in Butler Please.
