High Note
LuAnn talks about her break into the music biz, why she skipped Ramona's trip, and more.
What people don’t know about me is that I love to sing. It’s a creative outlet that I really enjoy. In life, we don’t always hit the "high note," but it’s important to go out there and try. I had a great time in the recording studio. My producer, Chris Young, understands me and is enthusiastic and positive. We enjoy working together. I’ve recorded a new single entitled Chic C’est La Vie that I will debut tonight on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live. This song is another expression of me and my life that I hope everyone will enjoy. It will be available on iTunes soon and a portion of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
I decided to skip the St. Johns trip because it was Victoria's birthday. My children come first.
Ramona referred to me and Jill as "buzzkills," but I don't think anyone can kill Ramona’s buzz! I don't take anything she says seriously, especially when she's had a few glasses of Pinot Grigio!
Spending time with Courte is always interesting because he's smart and funny. I just wanted to let my hair down and have a good time with someone who could make me laugh. I loved it when he ordered a drink called the Deal Closer! Dating on camera was a little awkward, especially the kissy-kissy part. He gave me a copy of his new book, Scandolocity as a gift. Flirting with a smart and handsome man is always fun.
I have no regrets about skipping the St. John trip! When Kelly told me she was going on this trip, I worried about her ability to defend herself with these women and cautioned her about going. As you can see, my fears were well-founded. When Kelly tried to defend Jill, she was unable to keep her composure. She should have stayed home. Kelly doesn't like to gossip behind people's backs and is a loyal friend, which I respect.
