What a great episode! Finally, things are happening, secrets are coming out, and we’re starting to see more sides to the stories.

First, Bethenny and Ramona went on a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge (random...) where they both attacked each other like crazy. Ramona accused Bethenny of planting her own press, being self-serving and having no friends. Bethenny shot back that Ramona was crazy and ungrateful and reminded her that she had told her Twitter friends to buy Ramona’s HSN jewelry. The most shocking things weren’t the insults though, it was what happened afterwards: Bethenny showed emotion and Ramona showed remorse. When Bethenny cried it was nice to see she was actually more than just a joke machine. And when Ramona apologized for hurting Bethenny’s feelings, I almost fell out of my chair. Ramona actually sensed she had crossed the line, seemed to regret it, and apologized to Bethenny over and over again. So much so that they were still friends by the time they got to the end of the bridge.

Ramona actually scored more points with me when she tried to get Jill and Bethenny to meet. First of all, when she presented it to Bethenny, she didn’t try to bully her about it, she said, “Think about it, don’t answer me now, just think about it.” (Who is this calm, rational Ramona?) I think it was nice she tried to get them together. It was a setup, yes, but it wasn’t sabotage for goodness sake. And as we saw from the clip - it was EXACTLY the same thing Jill did to Bethenny and Kelly last year. Jill literally locked them in a bedroom and told them not to come out until they were friends. Jill and LuAnn have no right to be mad at Ramona.

What is up with LuAnn not wanting Jill and Bethenny to make up? I have a feeling if Bethenny apologized to LuAnn and tried to be friends with her first, then LuAnn would be OK with Jill and Bethenny being friends...

I thought it was very nice of Alex to try and fix Jill and Bethenny’s relationship too. We know that Jill had this horrible summer with Bobby, but now we find out that Bethenny was dealing with her own bad personal issues.(Bethenny flew all the way to LA to see her dying father and he refused to see her? I don’t care who you are, that has to hurt.) Jill knew about Bethenny’s problems with her dad. They talked about it in past seasons.

So, last week I wanted to know, why didn’t the other Housewives tell Bethenny how sick Bobby was? Is it because, as Bethenny claimed this week, Jill said at the time it was only "a procedure," when now she says he had his throat slit from ear to ear???

On her blog last week, Jill says she didn’t know all the bad stuff that Bethenny was going through at the time, that no one told her. Yet this week, we saw Alex tell Jill that Bethenny was really hurting and that it was about her dad. That wasn’t enough to shake Jill out of her own pain and reach out to her friend?

Of course, we don’t know what we don’t see on TV, but what we did see was Bethenny trying to reach out to Jill, and Jill refusing her. Again.

First Bethenny tried to talk to Jill at the fashion show, Jill turned her away. Bethenny called Jill. Jill wasn’t having it. Then Bethenny showed up to talk to Jill, and Jill again refused to mend anything. Three times? Jill has denied Bethenny three times? That’s a grudge of Biblical proportions...

We know Jill has been hurt, has cried over Bethenny, truly loved Bethenny, and is heartbroken. Maybe Jill tried to reach out to Bethenny a bunch of times and we didn’t see it on the show. If so, great. But if that were true, wouldn’t it only make even more sense then that she would finally try and make up with her?

I’m totally sure they both hurt each other. But it looks like it’s hurting them both much more to hate each other than to just get over it. I wonder what Jill’s mom Gloria has to say about all this. She was close with Bethenny, she watched their friendship and knew what was going on all summer with Bobby and Bethenny and Jill. Doesn’t she give advice about forgiving and not holding grudges? What are the Secrets from a Jewish Mother for friends and forgiving? Jill’s Mommy, we need you!
