Did Luann Really Not Know That Her New Apartment Looks Onto Her Ex Tom's Terrace?
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member has a new home that offers views of her ex-husband's terrace — was this really a surprise?
As viewers saw on the Season 13 premiere of The Real Housewives of New York City, which aired on May 4, Luann de Lesseps has a brand new home. The cabaret star's Upper East Side apartment has high ceilings, chic decor — and a pretty interesting view.
In the clip above, Luann told her new neighbor (and pal!) Ramona Singer: "So I'm standing here [in my living room]; I'm literally waiting for the movers to walk in, and I look [out the window] and I go oh, my God: [Tom D'Agostino's] terrace! ... It's like, right in my view!" But, did Lu really not realize that she would be living near her ex-husband when she bought her new apartment?
When Luann appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen with her RHONY cast mates on May 4, she provided some insight on her new real-estate situation. When Andy asked the ladies if they believe that Lu genuinely didn't know that her new place looked onto Tom's terrace, Sonja Morgan and Leah McSweeney revealed that they think she did know.
"I saw the apartment once," Luann said in her own defense. "It was a pandemic. I came in in August, saw it, and I left. Literally!"
