Dorinda Medley Opens up About Never Living with Ex John Mahdessian
"He didn't even have underwear at my house," explained The Real Housewives of New York City cast member.
After seven years, Dorinda Medley confirmed her split from boyfriend John Mahdessian on the May 14 episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. In an interview during the episode, Dorinda explained that she eventually realized she wanted something different out of a relationship.
“The breakup with John is sad. I mean, it’s terrible, but I also know that I have to do what’s best for me now. And I’ve realized that my expectation levels have grown. This is what I want now. This is what I need,” she said. “I need to find the right partner that’s willing to be engaged in that. And I don’t think that’s bad. I think that’s honesty.”
During the July 16 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home, Dorinda provided some further insight into what her relationship with John was like while they were together, and more specifically, what their living arrangement looked like.
“I dated John for seven years. I never lived with him. I saw him a couple of nights a week,” said Dorinda. “He didn’t even have underwear at my house.”
Dorinda also revealed some information about another person who has been in her life for many years during WWHL: her housekeeper, Len. Dorinda has Len known Len for 17 years, and noted how trustworthy she is.
“Len is truly, like, I’m telling you, she would be great for the CIA,” Dorinda explained. “She never speaks of anything.”
