Dorinda Medley's Daughter Hannah Is Moving into a New Home
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member documented the "long day of packing" at her daughter's apartment.
When Dorinda Medley moved to her new apartment in 2018 (see a full tour in the video above!), she documented her moving process. Now, The Real Housewives of New York City cast member is helping her daughter, Hannah, move out of her NYC home as well.
On June 17, Dorinda posted a series of Instagram Stories showing the process of packing up Hannah's apartment located in Hudson Yards, a massive, mixed-use development on Manhattan's West Side. "Moving day," Dorinda said in one clip. "Moving away."
In the videos, as she proudly declared: "We're organized." Dorinda also noted that they had hired MakeSpace, a full-service storage company, to help with the move.
As the day went on, Dorinda couldn't help but rave about her daughter's packing skills. "Oh my god, Hannah!" she said as she showed several neatly-stacked boxes. "You did a great job. Amazing."
While she continued to show the progress, Dorinda kept a positive attitude about the work ahead of them. "Long day of packing," she captioned a clip. "But we're getting there!"
When the day was winding down, Dorinda took a moment to reflect on the moving process. "It's always amazing to me how long it takes to deconstruct an apartment, and how sad it looks at the end. Home turns into just a box," she said. "But they did a great job."
As the MakeSpace team finished up, Dorinda admitted, "I'm exhausted just watching." However, she noted the laborious day was a true team effort. "We packed up 75 boxes ourselves," she said. "We did it, Hannah!"
While it's unclear where Hannah is headed next, Dorinda recently opened up to BravoTV.com about how no longer living with her daughter has influenced her decorating choices at her new digs. "Now that Hannah doesn’t live with me and I don’t have husbands living with me, and it’s just little ol’ me, I’m going pink,” Dorinda said in the video above while showing off her abode. “I love the pink couches, I mean these things are amazing!”
