See Inside the $39M Hamptons Mansion Where the New York Housewives Partied
From a double living room to a bowling alley in the basement, take a tour of the 10-bedroom abode where Ramona Singer co-hosted a party on RHONY.
From the Hamptons to the Berkshires, The Real Housewives of New York City cast members have their own opulent vacation homes, but on the show's April 16, episode, the women were blown away by a mansion they visited for a party Ramona Singer was co-hosting.
As they arrived at the expansive Sandcastle estate in Bridgehampton, owned by developer Joe Farrell, Dorinda Medley declared it was a "beautiful house." Sonja Morgan, meanwhile, exclaimed, "This is fancy!" before quipping, "It's for sale? No wonder we're invited."
Indeed, this isn't quite an average home sale. While the $39 million price tag on the home was a hot topic among the Housewives that night, the massive abode is currently listed for a cool $39,995,000.
Once inside, many members of the group were equally impressed by the interior. "I love all of the woodwork," Dorinda told Joe. "I have an old Stanford White house, so I appreciate wood."
According the listing, the 17,000 square foot 3-story manse boasts 10 bedrooms as well as 10 full and 5 half bathrooms. Additionally, the property also has a 2,400 square foot recreation pavilion with a yoga studio, two full bathrooms, kitchen, changing room, gym, covered porch, billiard area, steam room, massage room, pilates room, and media area.
While Dorinda declared during the party that she thought touring houses was "tacky," we respectfully disagree. So, if you're like us and can't get enough of ogling opulent decor, scroll down for a full look at every room of the house featured on the episode, from the stunning living room to the bowling alley:
Outdoor Oasis
With a beautifully-maintained hedge-lined driveway, it's not hard to understand why the cast members were immediately impressed by the stunning estate before even entering the home. According to the listing, the house's outdoor space also includes a full outdoor kitchen, sunken tennis court, pool, basketball court, baseball field, and a tree house.
Massive Mirror
As she and Dorinda entered the home, Ramona was immediately stunned by a sizable standing mirror. "You don't understand how much I love standing mirrors. I have one in my apartment, " she said. "I'm in love with this mirror."
Lavish Living Room
Ramona was particularly impressed with the double living room's two fireplaces. Other eye-catching features of the space include modern lighting, unique artwork, and a wall solely lined with windows and doors that lead to the outdoor patio.
Light and Bright Kitchen
From the cabinetry to the marble-top island, one of the home's kitchens is mainly white, save for eye-catching red accents. For an additional pop of color, the room's dining area features blue and white chairs.
Regal Dining Room
While we saw just a glimpse of the dining room's breathtaking crystal chandelier, wood table and blue chairs, according to the listing, it has a custom crafted ceiling and is complemented by a butler’s pantry and wine room.
Luxe Lower Level
"That's pretty awesome," Leah declared upon seeing the two-lane bowling alley in the basement. While the bowling space also has a full bar and its own ATM machine, there is a ping pong table and media area (with five TVs!) just steps away. According to the listing, the basement also boasts squash, racquetball, basketball and volleyball courts.
Not Your Average Playroom
Also on the lower level, Joe told Ramona he has an indoor half-pipe for his kids to use "if it's raining out." Should they want to choose a different activity, the room also features a state-of-the-art DJ booth.
Serene Spa
While it seems the lower level is designed for activities, it also offers space to unwind with a spa. In addition to the sunken tile jacuzzi shown on the episode, the listing notes that the spa features a fireplace and two hydraulic massage tables, a steam room, massage area, and showers.
